History

After a successful try at partnership, David Johnston and Luc Vermette, decided to form a durable association. JOHNSTON-VERMETTE GROUPE CONSEIL INC. provides engineering consulting services in the industrial and energy sectors.


In 1999, the firm became a shareholder of Pluritec Ltd., a firm specializing in civil engineering, building and environment, with offices in Trois-Rivières, Shawinigan, Drummondville and Victoriaville.


In 2004, Pluritec became a shareholder Johnston-Vermette.


In 2007, Johnston-Vermette acquired the group OPTEC Energy Services inc., Expert group in the oil and petrochemical industries in Quebec and abroad.


In 2008, Johnston-Vermette acquired the firm Opti-Conseil inc., a group that worked mainly in mechanical and thermal processes, cogeneration, energy conservation, steam and condensate. Johnston-Vermette also acquired the firm SIMEE inc. which later became Johnston-Vermette construction.


Order to enhance our history, two criteria emerge in the profile of our employees, firstly practical experience in heavy industry and secondly a quality approach.
